The hotel is very conveniently located just opposite the railway station in Padova, in an old, but well kept building. The room was large and comfortable, with large bathroom. Breakfast was very good, with a very large choice of food and beverages. The welcome at the reception was warm and efficient. In fact, I arrive in early morning and there was no problem to leave my luggage before I checked-in in the evening (went to Venice in the meantime). Likewise, there was no problem in leaving the luggage on the day of departure until mid-afternoon. Overall, certainly a recommended option in Padova (especially for those travelling by train) and very good value for money.

The location was perfect as we were travelling by train to Padova so we could walk to/from the station easily. There are plenty of trams and busses nearby for travel into the centre of the old city. We were also a short walk from a major new conference facility as well. I love the art deco style of the hotel which is largely preserved. Breakfast was really excellent. A superb buffet that was a pleasure to look at! We needed more pillows, which were promptly supplied on request. WiFi worked well. The room was large (as was the en-suite bathroom) and the quiet air-con maintained the room at a steady temperature despite the heatwave outside!

The location is excellent, just cross street from the train station, very convenient for traveling by train. The tram stop is 2-minute walk from the hotel that goes directly to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They told us all about the city and gave us public transportation information. When we were about to leave the hotel for sightseeing, it was raining, we were talking to ourselves that we should go back to the room to take umbrella, the staff immediately went to the boom behind the reception desk to take two nice umbrellas, "hey, take these." It was heart warming. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast with lots of choices and great coffee. Location is OK, right next to train & bus station but it's very noisy and a long way from the centre of Padova (25-30 minutes walk). There's lots of people hanging around the square at night too so bear that in mind if coming back late (there were also plenty of police around so felt reasonably safe). Got upgraded to a bigger room which was lovely. Great hotel, just expect a lot of noise outside.

Stepped off the train, crossed the road and into the hotel, checked in, dropped off bags, left hotel, crossed road, stepped onto train - Venice! simple. Could not ask for a better location, and the double glazed windows drowns out all the noise from everything. Superb breakfast, and we got our laundry done ($$$) - A train strike let us explore Padua, and our last day was back in Venice... but we just laughed at the people struggling with their suitcases wandering around venice...
